Lewis to stand for National Management Executive
Matthew Lewis has been selected by
A Conservative Future For Britain (CF4B), as an officially backed candidate in the
forthcoming national CF elections. With the current National Management
Executive (NME) having achieved a
great many positive results during their term, and a new permanent member of
staff appointed to assist with the running of CF, it is hoped by many CF members that some new faces can bring fresh impetus to the forefront of the national organisation,
and push on to even greater things. Matt
says "I'm choosing to stand for election to the National
Executive of CF as I feel that although CF has made massive strides these past
twelve months, there is still much to do. The groundwork made by the incumbent
executive, and the appointment of Michael Lunn as a permanent member of staff to
assist us in making CF a more dynamic effective organisation, means we can now
really push forwards to allow CF to be the organisation it always should have
been, and enable us to make a vital difference at the next General Election".
"Although the NME is losing two of its most able members in Mark Clarke and
Claire Palmer, I hope that were I to be elected, I could help make a huge
contribution in helping us continue to move ahead, especially with the
strengthening of a national CF identity that not all members feel part of
currently. Yes there remain problems; notably a feeling amongst some that there
are failings in communication, and a London-bias on the NME, but these are
things that are easily solved, and are a natural progression as CF grows in
numbers and efficiency.
"There has not been a better time in recent memory to be a member of
Conservative Future, and with both CF and the national party catching the public
mood, I'd like to help make us even better".
